How ya’ll doin?

I’ll keep this short and sweet and send you on your way. Two things!

Firstly: We are playing with Gojira at Z7 in Pratteln. Fucking ridiculous, right? Come on out and join us for one of todays heaviest bands, this is your chance to catch some new songs before they are even released!

Secondly: We released our new music video for Take Me Home. Check it out here and if you like it, please share it with your friends:

More Shows, New Music Video

Hello internet, Mahmoud here again!

We will be announcing a lot, and I mean A LOT of shows for the coming fall/autumn season. If you want to catch us on tour in Switzerland with our new material, now’s the time! The exact locations and dates will be announced very soon.

A UK tour is also in planning, so if you are in the UK and want to see us live, you’ll get the chance very soon!

On a different note: We will be releasing a new video for our song Take Me Home beginning of next week. Be sure to come back here for a link and a give-away!

I wish you a great day and weekend, everyone! I’m sorry that we take a bit long to update our homepage, it sometimes gets lost in all the stuff we are doing, but I promise to keep an eye on this more often.

All the best

Release Show Announcement

How’s it going, everyone? Hope you guys are doing wonderfully!

We are happy to announce to you that our new album titled Episodes of Solitude will be released WORLDWIDE via WormHole Death on the 4th of September. This release will be celebrated HARD on the 12th of September in our hometown at one of the most beautiful venues in the whole goddamn world, Werk21.

Our brothers and label mates in Mycelia will be joining us and releasing their own album Obey as well. Support comes from our bandroom mates The Kate Effect. Come out early and give them a listen, they very well deserve it!

We will be releasing a new song, Take Me Home, in a couple of weeks, before the album comes out. The video for that should be out very soon, we can’t wait to share this beast with you!

Stay tuned for more, I hope you guys are just as pumped as I am for what’s to come.

Have a wonderful weekend!

We signed with Wormholedeath and Aural Music and release of our new Song, Crimson Zero!

We are incredibly proud to announce that we have signed a worldwide deal with Wormholedeath (Italy).

This is, without a doubt, the biggest step for us as a band to date, and we could not be more ecstatic! We have been very hard at work since september last year and finally we are able to talk about all the endeavors since then.

We have had the pleasure of working with Jonathan Mazzeo and Lorenzo Guddemi at MathLab Recording Studio in Italy for this upcoming debut record, and it is sounding massive; He did things to our sound that you could begin to imagine. Trust us, this is going to blow everything we ever did out of the water.

We have put our hearts and souls, our sweat and tears, and every fibre of energy humanly possible into this record. This is, without a doubt the biggest thing we have ever done to date.

Big thanks go to both Jeremy Marugan, who took the time to film and edit this whole thing, as well as Siegfried Strauss, who added the after effects and lyrics to the video.

We want to express our deepest gratitude towards the whole Wormholedeath Team, towards Jonny and Lorenzo, and most of all, our fans, friends and family. Without any of you people, this would not be possible. We are already working on more things for this upcoming release, so be prepared to get bombarded with new Atropas music.

Here’s the official press release by WHD:

And here’s the Youtube link to the new song, Crimson Zero:

One last thing: If you like the new song, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE!! share it with any and everyone who might be into metal or at least into this song. This is much more important than you think, so anyone sharing a link is helping us, BIG TIME!

If you’ve come this far in this post without clicking away: We love you!
All the best

More News, soon!

Hey everyone, Mahmoud here!

We’ve been very busy with different things, which unfortunately I can’t say much about as of yet. We will be releasing more information soon enough, though. What I can say is the following though: It’s going to be our biggest news yet, without a doubt. Stay tuned, more news in a couple of weeks, you’ll know what is up by mid of april, I promise!

We’ve been working on some covers meanwhile! If you feel like listening to those in the mean time, below you’ll find the links!

First cover, Enjoy The Silence by Depeche Mode!

And the second cover: Sonne by Rammstein!

Thank you all so much for your support and patience, we appreciate it so, so very much!

We’ll see you soon, stay tuned!

More News!

We have somewhat put a halt on our live EP for some other stuff, which we will announce when the time is right. As of now, we will not be able to take part in any concerts in December, we will be fairly busy with, well, things! Stay tuned, the announcement will come shortly.

For now, though, feel free to check out the live version of Orchids, at Zurich’s Hey City Club!

Live EP and news

So, we wrapped up our run of gigs for this spring and we’re already onto new projects:

We’ve recorded our last show in Zurich at Hey City Club (audio) and we’re going to release a live EP along with some covers of our metal heroes (we’re not saying which bands we’ll cover just yet).

As a preview to how the EP is going to sound, here’s Redeem The Lost off of our debut record, Azrael, live at Hey City Club:

Interview at Radio 3Fach

We were invited to an interview this last saturday right before the show. Anyone interested can check it out here (swiss german!)
